Definitely would do it again. I didn't hate it but def felt anxious before jumping in that tub. The anxiety went away after I was fully submerged. When we did the workout I felt pretty tired (from the majority of this week) but mentally felt good enough to pace/push through the workouts with the "I can do just one more rep" mentality. My favorite part of the day was the awesome experience that we had as a team. I've never felt more connected to a group of people. Other than being half naked, freezing, and exhausted - add doing that with a group of others where there's nothing but raw honesty and shared feelings. What an awesome time. I love the rapport we have as a team and that each and every one of us, no matter the point we're at in our own personal journey, are improving and doing so in ways that encourage those honest conversations and inspire each other to keep going❤️💪🏼

I 100% was in full blown anxiety / panic before we got into the plunge. The build up in my mind created so many thoughts.
I went into thinking about all the what “ifs” from the time that question was asked until the time came to actually get in the plunge.
I am thankful for the question George asked while in the tank. “Are you okay?” That made me actually realize a lot in that moment. I was okay. I was more than okay! I was winning the war in my mind!!!! I was safe. My body was challenged by the cold but my mind was stronger!
Our minds and bodies are more powerful than we realize. To be able to overcome something like today is a huge step for me!
My ice pod is ready for tomorrow morning! Starting a new routine! Thanks George Dobbins for kick start that I needed to make this happen! Awesome experience all around today!
